A Summer Twist on Your Favourite LMC Teas

And what better way to celebrate than with a fresh take on your favourite LMC teas? We’ve put together five delicious cocktail and mocktail recipes that bring fruity, floral and spiced flavours to your summer table. Perfect for entertaining friends or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon at home.

 

Let’s Make Cocktails

A splash of something special, a few fresh ingredients and your favourite LMC tea. These three cocktails are made for easy summer entertaining.

 

LMC Earl Grey Spritzer

A citrusy, sparkling cocktail made for sunny afternoons.

Ingredients (1 glass)

  • 1 LMC Earl Grey teabag
  • 1 shot blood orange gin
  • 1 shot Aperol
  • 200 ml soda water
  • Dried lemon slice to garnish

Method

Add the LMC Earl Grey teabag to the blood orange gin and Aperol and allow it to infuse for a few minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Pour into a glass filled with ice, top with soda water and garnish with dried lemon.

 

LMC Strawberries & Cream Delight

A creamy, strawberry-inspired treat with a refreshing touch of mint.

Ingredients (1 glass)

Method

Add the LMC Strawberries & Cream teabag to the strawberries and cream liqueur and allow it to infuse for a few minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Pour over ice, add a splash of cream and finish with a fresh mint leaf.

 

LMC Lemon Chamomile & Lavender Sunset

A delicate blend of floral and citrus flavours with a summery twist.

Ingredients (1 glass)

Alternative combination

  • 1 shot Southern Comfort
  • 200 ml lemonade

Method

Add the LMC Lemon, Chamomile & Lavender teabag to the lemon liqueur and allow it to infuse for a few minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Pour over ice, top with soda water and garnish with lavender.

For the alternative version, infuse the teabag in the Southern Comfort for a few minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Pour over ice and top with lemonade.

 

Let’s Make Mocktails

Who says you need alcohol to enjoy a beautiful summer drink? These two mocktails are full of flavour, easy to prepare and just as lovely to serve when friends come over.

 

LMC Cherry Hibiscus Fizz

A fruity, colourful mocktail with a hint of tartness.

Ingredients (1 glass)

  • 2 LMC Cherry & Hibiscus teabags
  • 100 ml boiling water
  • 100 ml lemonade
  • 50 ml cranberry juice
  • Juice of ½ lime or lemon
  • 1–2 teaspoons grenadine
  • Plenty of ice
  • Fresh cherries or frozen berries, a slice of lime or lemon, and mint to garnish

Method

Steep the two teabags in 100 ml of boiling water for approximately 5–7 minutes to prepare a strong tea concentrate. Allow it to cool completely.

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the tea, cranberry juice, citrus juice and grenadine. Slowly top with lemonade. Stir gently and finish with your chosen garnish.

 

LMC Spiced Chai Cloud

A refreshing combination of warm spices, crisp apple and ginger.

Ingredients (1 glass)

  • 2 LMC Spicy Chai teabags
  • 100 ml boiling water
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 50 ml ginger ale
  • ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or caramel syrup
  • Plenty of ice
  • Cinnamon stick, thin apple slices and star anise to garnish

Method

Steep the two teabags in 100 ml of boiling water for 5–7 minutes to prepare a strong chai concentrate. Allow it to cool completely.

Combine the tea, apple juice, lemon juice and honey or caramel syrup over ice. Top with ginger ale, stir gently and garnish with a cinnamon stick, thin apple slices and star anise.
